stillness.
My research thesis focuses on body-based techniques, the science of working with your nervous system to find real, physical calm. Every meditation is built around proven, evidence-based methods from psychology and neuroscience clinical research. Under each meditation, I've named the specific tools inside it, so you always know exactly what you're practicing and why it works. Find a still moment, get comfortable, and dive in <3

Nervous System Reset
15 minutes
Opens with the physiological sigh, the double inhale, long-exhale breath, a 2023 Stanford study (Balban et al.) found calms the body faster than any other breathwork they tested. From there, it moves into a body scan drawn from Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Those slow exhales gently switch on your parasympathetic nervous system, the body's built-in "rest and settle" response.

Sleep well
15 Minutes
Built on the science of falling asleep. It uses engaging imagery distraction, shown in insomnia research (Harvey & Payne) to quiet a racing mind and shorten the time it takes to drift off. Alongside it you'll find progressive muscle relaxation and gentle cognitive tools from CBT for insomnia. It closes with a "cognitive shuffle," a stream of soft, random images that mimics how your mind naturally slips into sleep.

Get to the Root
10 Minutes
A deeper practice for the patterns we carry. It draws on Internal Family Systems (IFS) and self-compassion research to meet an old pattern with curiosity instead of judgment. It's fully trauma-informed and paced to keep you within your "window of tolerance," with grounding at the beginning and end so you always feel safe. A reflective practice and a companion to therapy rather than a replacement for it.
